MATHEMATICS
Three years of mathematics are required for graduation, including Algebra I and Geometry for the class of 2012. For the class of 2013, Algebra II is also a graduation requirement.
Northern Burlington strongly recommends four years of mathematics for college-bound students using the following sequence:
Grade 9 - Algebra I/Geometry/Honors Geometry
Grade 10 - Concepts in Geometry/Geometry/Honors Geometry/Algebra II, Honors Algebra II
Grade 11 - Concepts in Algebra II/Algebra II/Honors Algebra II/Pre-Calculus/Honors Pre-Calculus
Grade 12 - Algebra II/Financial Mathematics/Pre-Calculus/Honors Pre-Calculus/Introduction to Statistics/AP Statistics/Calculus/AP Calculus AB/AP Statistics
