Morgan Pettit Signs with Slippery Rock University !!
Morgan Pettit has signed with Slippery Rock University where she will be headed in the Fall. Morgan will play lacrosse for Slippery Rock. While at Northern, she has started for Northern's Varsity lacrosse team for the past three seasons and has also contributed to our soccer and winter track programs. Over the past four years, Morgan has proven to be a true impact player for the lacrosse team and has greatly contributed to the success of the program. There is no doubt that Morgan will continue to prove herself as a highly skilled and motivated athlete on the fields of Slippery Rock University. We wish Morgan the best of luck as she goes on to play in college!

Carli DiCioccio Signs with Philadelphia University!!!
Carli DiCioccio has signed with Philadelphia University to play lacrosse this fall. Carli has been a three-year varsity starter for the girls lacrosse team at Northern Burlington, as well a member of the field hockey and winter track teams. Carli has been voted by her peers and coaches as captain of the girls lacrosse team for both the current and 2009 seasons and was voted as a BCSL Second Team All-Star in 2009. Best wishes to Carli as she leaves Northern on a successful future.
Northern's FFA PLACES FIRST IN THE STATE
Northern Burlington County Regional High School would like to congratulate their FFA for placing 1st in the state competition held at Rutgers on April 16, 2010. Their Agricultural Sales Team and Agricultural Mechanics Team competed against other New Jersey FFA chapters, and both teams placed 1st in the state competition. The individual rankings for the Agricultural Sales Team are as follows: Julianne Robinson placed 1st, Gillian Armstrong placed 4th, Matthew Bassett placed 6th, and Nathan Potts placed 8th. The individual rankings for the Agricultural Mechanics team are as follows: Clint Carty placed 1st, Scott Gangel placed 2nd, Josh Jones placed 16th, and Taylor Liedtka placed 18th. Because of these accomplishments, the two teams get the opportunity to compete at the Eastern States Exposition in Springfield, Massachusetts and at the National FFA Convention in Indianapolis, Indiana. NBCRHS would like to wish them continued success at the Eastern States Competition.
Emma Rosenwinkel Signs with Philadelphia University
Congratulations to Emma Rosenwinkel who has chosen to attend Philadelphia University this fall. Emma has been a four-year Varsity contributor to the cross-country and indoor and outdoor track and field teams here at Northern. The past two years, she has served as captain of all three programs, and she is a school record holder in the 4x800 meter relay and the pole vault. She takes her many talents with her to Philadelphia University, where we
wish her nothing but the best! Emma is congratulated by her parents as she signs her official letter of intent.
Northern Burlington County Regional High School’s April Students of the Month
Northern Burlington County Regional High School would like to honor five exemplary students. Emily McClain (11th grade), Jessica Kotelnicki (12th grade), Alexis Martinez (ELKS), Gabby Van Mater (10th grade), and Dominic Booth (9th grade), have all been selected as April Students-of-the-Month for their commendable behavior in school and in their classrooms. Everyone here at NBRHS is proud of them and would like to congratulate them on their success!!

Northern's Visual and Performing Arts Students Receive Special Recognition at Teen Arts Festival
Congratulations to the Visual and Performing Arts Students who received awards in the 2010 Burlington Country Teen Arts Exhibit.
Julia Parada’s linoleum print of “Travis Barker;” Deanna Weingart’s ceramic sculpture, “Textured by the Deep”; and Fallon Perreault’s ceramic sculpture, “Zen in the Garden,” were selected as outstanding by the Teen Arts judges and awarded participation in another exhibit to be held at the Annex Gallery at the Historic Smithville Mansion.
Furthermore, Northern Burlington County Regional High School’s Chorale received perfect scores from the judges and that awesome performance qualifies them to compete in the State Competition that will be held in Monmouth University in May.
The theatre group of Melissa Patterson, John Hermesmann, and Shonmikeal MacPherson took first place with their scene, "Drugs Are Bad" and have been invited to perform at the State Teen Arts Festival at Monmouth University in May along with Mr. Taylor's Chorale.
